The platform emphasizes protecting children from digital threats while preparing them for future challenges in the evolving digital landscape. The curriculum employs pedagogical methods and content crafted by international experts and is managed by a non-profit organization dedicated to educational development.

The DQ app and the DQ World portal are fully accessible worldwide at no cost, with no registration fees or paid services involved. This open access aims to reach a broad audience and promote digital literacy on a global scale.

DQ World Pte. Ltd. operates as a social enterprise, having been spun off from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and infollutionZERO in South Korea. Its mission focuses on providing innovative, research-informed educational tools that enable children to develop core skills and values essential for the digital age.

The organization also acts as the secretariat for the DQ Coalition, working toward expanding its outreach through collaborations with partners around the world.
